Dunkerque - Hypermarkets and Shopping Centres
Shopping in Dunkerque is easy, practical and pleasant! First of all there are 400 shops in the town centre, which has recently been entirely renovated. The city's best shopping areas are Boulevard Alexandre III, rue Clemenceau, Boulevard Sainte Barbe and Rue Nationale. The Pôle Marine - a new shopping mall on Place du Minck, houses a cinema complex and restaurants. The Marine shopping centre offers clothing and perfume shops, a supermarket.
Malo les bains - the Dunkirk seaside resort, has 150 shops. Outdoor markets are held every Saturday and Wednesday at Place du General de Gaulle and every Tuesday morning at Place Turenne.
