Calais Ferry Port Information

Situated on the most frequented shipping lanes in the World Calais is the port, par excellence, for cross Channel links between Britain and the European mainland. Every day car ferries, hovercraft and catamarans provide more than 60 services a day on the Dover-Calais route. P&O Ferries and Seafrance are equipped with a fleet of 'Jumbo' car ferries with crossing times of 75 minutes. Catamaran services offered by Hoverspeed make the crossing in 45 minutes.

Directions:

By Car:

The Port of Calais is directly connected to the European motorway network by means of two autoroutes. The A26/E15 serves the centre of France and provides access to Paris, and Southern Europe. The A16/E40 feeds into the Benelux and Northern Europe motorway systems, and the A16/E402 to Boulogne and Rouen.

By Rail/Coach:

There is a station situated in the centre of Calais town with TGV services daily from Calais to Paris. There is a regular courtesy bus service from the station to the port.
