Eurotunnel
The Eurotunnel is a revolutionary mode of transport, running between Folkestone, & Calais. Their underground trains operate under the highest safety & security measures & aim to provide one of the fastest & effortless ways of reaching Europe from the UK.
There is also a premium service, where passengers can relax in the Club lounge before boarding & enjoy the range of services on offer including fax machines, telephones, newspapers & complimentary light meals, a range of high street shops, Bureau du change, and a tourist information centre.
From thereon passengers simply drive on, following directions from Eurotunnel staff. The journey takes only 35 minutes from platform to platform & passengers can walk around inside the shuttle while they are travelling. With a frequency of up to 53 crossings daily, the channel tunnel is the shortest, and one of the most convenient routes to Calais.
